Rounded leather cord for use in necklace, bracelet and jewellery making. Leather twine is perfect for women’s & men’s jewellery, scrapbooking, binding handles, bracelet making and more! Indian leather cord is dyed, heat sealed and coated to create a solid outer colouring – Available in 3 shades – Black, Brown or Natural (undyed). Use in Macrame projects, to repair tired or broken jewellery with this versatile leather thread. Works well with slip knot bracelets & sliding knots but can also be glued into bell closers or crimped into box closures to make necklaces. Leather will soften & relax once in contact with body heat. Our leather cord will arrive pre-cut & wrapped into a grip-seal bag. Should you need to further straighten any kinks – simply apply gentle heat from a hair dryer until the leather begins to relax. Choose from two thicknesses, 1mm & 2mm. Use a thinner cord for wrapping and binding and a thicker cord for the base of your jewellery, hanging pendants etc. We do not recommend this product for corsetry or shoe laces.
