The company has always focused on percussion instruments, producing drum sticks, brushes and mallets. It was founded by Jack Adams, and today run by his two grandsons Ron and Alan Vater.
As an American company manufacturing in the US, Vater has a deep understanding of the Orchestral world. Consequently their range of Timpani mallets comprises of all the sticks you could wish for. Vater’s Timpani Mallet line features seven distinct traditional models in straight and tapered Sugar Maple shafts, as well as 3 Mallet/Stick Hybrid mallet models. These mallets produce a variety of tonal colors necessary for expressive performance on timpani, drumset or cymbals.
