- As of 1 January 2021, all heavy vehicles (more than 3500 kg. MMA tractors, rigids, buses, vans, trailers and semi-trailers) that are going to be circulated in France, are obliged to be equipped with stickers that show the position of blind spots / blind angle.
- The measure was adopted by the Government to strengthen the protection of vulnerable users (cyclists, pedestrians, scooter users, etc.) who travel on public roads. It will apply to all heavy vehicles traveling in an urban environment.
- In the decree published on 20/11/2020, concerning the signage that materializes the dead angles of vehicles, its location is specified: it must be visible on both sides as well as on the rear of the vehicle. This sticker sign will have a size of 25 x 17 cm.
