The Danfoss HPA2 2 port valve actuator is part of the “H” motorized valve series which is compatible for use with both copper and iron pipework making it one of the most popular 2 port valve actuators available. This type of motorised valve head actuator is suitable for central heating and both cold/hot water systems whether they be for domestic or commercial properties. The brilliant feature with this unit is that it is the motor replacement head for use with the Danfoss HPV22 and HPV28 valve bodies. What does that mean? To put it simply it means that when you purchase this actuator you don’t need to replace the entire unit as the head can simply be switched out with minimal effort so there’s no need to drain down the system – simply disconnect the wiring and unscrew the actuator from the valve body.
