Description
An innovative silicone pacifier from Curaprox, developed by dentist Dr. med. univ. et dent. Herbert Pick. Classic pacifiers have round or cherry-shaped mouthpieces that are much too large and exert the wrong pressure on the still soft upper jaw. This often makes later orthodontic corrections necessary to enable the child to have normal teeth and to swallow, chew, breathe and speak properly. This pacifier is different. It promotes and encourages the natural growth of the palate, jaw and teeth, without any negative consequences. Misaligned teeth such as crossbite or open bite are not to be feared with this pacifier. It also satisfies babies’ need to suck and lick while simultaneously training the motor skills of the tongue and jaw muscles – just like breastfeeding. Its flat, symmetrical suction tip ensures that the palate is relieved and the suction pressure is evenly distributed across the entire upper jaw – this allows it to grow in width as desired. This pacifier also promotes healthy nasal breathing and prevents mouth breathing. The natural swallowing process is also supported by the membrane that vibrates when sucking. This biofunctional pacifier has a noticeably flat tip that gives the tongue enough space and the baby the opportunity to develop a healthy swallowing pattern. This can actively prevent misalignments. From the age of 1, babies’ need to suck significantly decreases. However, children with an increased need to suck can continue to suck on this pacifier without hesitation or switch to a size 1 pacifier. Practical: The pacifier is supplied with a sterilization and transport box. The Curaprox pacifier is free of harmful substances such as bisphenol A (BPA), SLS, microplastics, triclosan or azo dyes and complies with the European standard EN 1400.
