Smooth light coloured birch dowels. Flat on both ends. Sanded to a smooth polished finish. The dowels are natural and untreated, ready to stain, paint, drill, cut, etc.

Warnings:
Birch dowels are a natural product, variations in colour and patternation can and do occur
Dowels can be susceptible to minor warp. This is more likely to affect the thinner dowels 3,4,5 & 6mm. The dowels can normally be bent/teased back into shape. While we make every effort to avoid including warped dowels, in larger packs the occasional warped dowel should be expected.
While these dowels are of the highest quality, the odd dowel make have a nick, bump, roughness etc picked up during the manufacturing process and would not be considered a fault.
The dowels are natural Birch Hardwood and untreated in any way making them safe for food applications, cake supports etc.
