Red Sterol Complex provides Red Yeast Rice, Plant Sterols and Cinnamon bark. Red Yeast Rice has been eaten and made in China for centuries by fermenting rice with Monascus purpureus (once fermented, the yeast is inactivated). Plant Sterols help to support healthy blood lipids levels, and Vitamin E helps protect blood lipids against harmful oxidation. May cause a temporary, harmless red colouring of the stool. Not to be taken by children or if pregnant or breastfeeding. Maintaining cholesterol in the normal range is important for cardiovascular health. Also contains plant sterols which may help maintain healthy blood fat levels. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant especially protective of the heart.
Four capsules typically provide 200mg Red Yeast Rice, 1000mg Plant sterols, 34mg Cinnamon bark extract 30:1 (equivalent to 1000mg Cinammon bark), 100mg Vitamin E.
