TapeCase polyimide film tape with acrylic adhesive-converted from 3M 1205, is a 3 mil industrial grade tape product constructed with a kapton polyimide film backing. This product is used in high temperature electrical applications that call for a strong, thin, solvent resistant insulating layer or wrap for various electrical components including coils, transformers, capacitors, wire harnesses and flexible printed circuits.
