This Age of Steam Stamp Presentation pack was issued by the Royal Mail on the 18th of January 1994. This pack contains a set of five mint stamps, each stamp design was adapted from photographs taken by Colin Gifford who wrote ‘Decline of Steam’ and ‘Each a Glimpse’. He is looked upon by many as the father of progressive railway photography. Within the pack are details and pictures about the 143 years of the steam Railway in Britain.
