The map on this globe is perhaps the brightest, most colourful available on store due to the strips of paper used in its manufacture. This is superior to the normal method of making plastic globes which leaves them less detailed and more dull compared to globes made from paper strips. Perhaps the best feature of this globe is that famous explorers and their vessels are depicted, with their routes highlighted. This is a feature normally reserved for much more expensive illuminated globes. Simply wind on the base and it is ready to use out of the box.
