The RELD tester is used to detect damage to cylinder head and head gasket of liquid cooled combustion engines (Petrol, Diesel, LPG). The tester has the same functional principle and the same effectiveness as expensive testers, and its price is affordable due to the innovative production method. In case of a damaged seal under the cylinder head or the cylinder head itself, part of the exhaust gas, including CO2, enters the cooling system. The operating principle of the device is based on the measurement of the CO2 concentration. With increased concentration, the reaction fluid reacts with the CO2 and changes its colour. The whole process takes no longer than 5 minutes and gives you almost 100% confidence whether the cylinder head gasket is not broken. Kit Includes: Universal adapter. ▶ The device for measuring the tightness. ▶ RELD reaction fluid with a capacity of 100 ml. ▶ User manual with steps to perform the test You only need 2ml of reaction fluid to perform a test. This kit allows you to perform up to 50 tests. We attach a universal adapter to our RELD tester which has a wide measuring range (25-55mm). You can check among other cars, trucks, seat trailers, excavators, motorcycles and forklifts. The RELD reaction fluid is blue. ▶ If after completion of all steps described in the instruction manual, the liquid has not changed its colour and is still blue, this means that your seal under the cylinder head and cylinder head are in perfect condition. The RELD reaction fluid is yellow or green. ▶ If the liquid has changed its colour from blue to yellow or green after all steps in the instruction manual, this means that the seal under the cylinder head or the cylinder head itself is damaged.
