Ideal for cars with extra wide wheels or rims with very low offset (spacers). Here, the TÜV now often demands complete coverage of the tyre profile for registration – depending on test basis. This is not the case for many cars (e.g. Alfas) without an additional cover, particularly on the rear fender.
