Description
The AmScope T120B composite trinocular microscope features interchangeable pairs of 10x wide-field and 20x wide-field eyepieces, a forward facing nosepiece with four achromatic DIN lenses, a Brightfield (BF) LED lighting, a 1.25NA Abbe capacitor and a double mechanical table. The trinocular head features a boiling pot binoculars holder with a pupil adjustment from 53 to 77 mm, a fixed vertical tilt of 30 degrees to reduce eye and neck strain, and a 360 degree rotation function to allow for a more comprehensive view and sharing. A camera can be mounted via the 23mm vertical trinocular connector (sold separately). The dioptric adjustment takes into account individual differences in eye strength. The forward facing nosepiece has achromatic DIN lenses with 4x, 10x, 40xS (spring) and 100xS (spring, oil) which together with the eyepieces allow colour correction of enlarged images at eight magnifications. The 40xS lens is spring loaded to avoid sliding damage when focusing. The spring loaded 100xS oil lens offers a higher resolution than a standard lens. A compound microscope is used for inspection and dissecection of samples when two-dimensional images are desired.
