A special liquid is applied to the brush make it hard during production. This must be removed before first use. Before using the nail brush for the first time submerge it in water and apply slight pressure to the brush head and twist to separate the bristles. Dry the bristles with a paper towel. The brush is now ready to use. After use make sure you clean the brush with brush cleaner/liquid monomer to prevent the acrylic on the brush from clumping. Do this after each use. Do not use acetone as this will remove the shine from the bristles. Remove as much moisture as possible from the brush with a paper towel. Store in upright position out of direct sunlight. Once dry use the protective plastic storage tube to reduce risk of damage to the bristles. Natural hair does need air to breathe so don’t store wet. Brush may “moult” at first by shedding some hairs when first used. This is normal.
