Our Nemaxx Quickfix adhesive pad is a strong alternative to screws and plugs for installation of smoke detectors. The fixing system consists of acrylate foam, which acts to the full extent as an adhesive. Thus, the adhesive pad combines perfectly with various surface structures and can also be mounted on rough and uneven ceiling. However, it is not suitable for vinyl wallpapers, polystyrene, non-stick coatings, silicone or teflon-coated surfaces.

In order to ensure the operational readiness of the device by a visual and functional test, the smoke detector must be removed of its mounting plate during the annual maintenance. Thanks to the pads the smoke detector can be easily unscrewed from the mounting plate during the annual maintenance. An advantage of the adhesive pads over the comparable magnetic mounting is that the smoke detector does not even have to be additionally separated from the mounting plate for a battery change.
