Made in a traditional way on a round sieve machine, ensuring that the fibres are evenly distributed, making the paper very stable. This watercolour paper is made from long fibres made from 100% rags. This allows it to absorb a lot of water without warping or bleeding the colours. It is glued to the core with natural gelatin so it can be scraped without tearing or fibering. This inner gluing also prevents paint from penetrating the paper, allowing light to fall through the pigment and be reflected from the white paper, while ensuring the resistance to ageing. Watercolour Card Features: Suitable for all watercolour techniques, gouache, acrylic and ink. Suitable for all wet techniques, scraping techniques and smooth surface painting.
