Description

Thanks to the built-in battery, the Shelly Button1 can be used anywhere (WLAN required). So you can also switch from where there was no switch, e.g. the light out of the bed. In addition, the small size (45 x 45 x 16 mm) makes it easy to carry the switch and thanks to IPX5 certification, moisture and rain are no problem. It is therefore possible to use outdoors or in the bathroom. The built-in battery lasts for more than 3000 commands. Then you can simply recharge it via the micro USB interface (5 V). Also possible: if you permanently power the Shelly Button1, you benefit from even faster response time. The command is then sent practically immediately (100ms). In battery operation, waking up from standby only takes approx. two seconds.
