- 100% COTTON CANVAS – is made from high-grade long-staple cotton. Without rinsed with any alkaline chemicals, it keeps the fiber flexibility of the cotton yarns with high tensile strength. Evenly woven fibers perform a medium grain surface with excellent brushstrokes and nice paint absorbency.
- STRETCHER BARS – are made with high-quality pine wood. Frame strips have great straightness and smoothness after thermophilic processing, degreasing, kiln-dring, and polishing. Each group of stretcher bars is connected with standard joint-structure to perform stable and sturdy construction. All timbers conform to FSC standards.
- TRIPLE PRIMED GESSO – extends the life of artwork and does not crumble or crack. Specially formulated primer can penetrate deeply into canvas fabric and binds tightly with fibers and paint color. Gesso covers the painting surface uniformly and won’t peel off when using water, linseed oil or other solvents.
- VACUUM PACKAGING – Stretched canvases are warped every other one and then sealed carefully into a polybag to prevent dust, dampness & adhesion. A transparent plastic sheet is also placed at the front of the canvas pack to protect them during the transport.
