Description
The lucky horn, used above all in southern Italy, has very ancient origins, to be found even in ancient Greek myths. The lucky horn (‘or’ curniciello) for the Neapolitans is the superstitious object par excellence. It goes back to the horns of Zeus and his relationship with the maiden Europa. For the Neapolitans the horns represent the small fetish used to protect themselves from the evil eye and traditionally, it is a lucky charm to give.
