Description
Weld S2 welding fire blanket (79″x59″ / 200×150 cm) is tailored with a flame retardant fabric and high temperature special silicone coated on both sides. This welders blanket is very resistant to the impacts from welding sparks, cutting and grinding operations. Thanks to it’s silicone coating this blanket can be used by both sides. The silicone special coating for high temperature of Weld S2 blanket causes the impacts to bounce and not to stick into the blanket, raising its durability. This blanket has a metal eyelet on each corner to be hung. Its perimeter is finished with a black colored Bies to increase its durability. This blanket has been tested to bear impacts of incandescent elements up to 900ºC. It’s impermeable to water, acids and smoke. It meets with the following European regulations EN ISO 9185: Textile materials resistance before melted metal splashes. EN ISO 11611: Protection fabrics for welding and related techniques.
