The special colour intensity of our Resin Inks allows precise dosing to achieve even more nuances and effects.
Octopus Fluids Resin Inks are fast-drying alcohol-based colour concentrates that have been specially developed for colouring epoxy resin, UV resin, acrylic resin, polyester resin and other casting resin systems of all common brands. They are extremely economical and give the resin an intensive colouring without affecting the transparency of the material. One exception is the pigmented colour “Milk”. It is essential to create the popular sink effect in the Petri dish art. We recommend that you observe the mixing ratios of the manufacturers.
The flow properties of the resin inks have also been optimised for use in resin. The dyes spread less on the surface of the resin and thus allow the resin artist to work more precisely.
Unlike conventional alcohol inks, the formulation of our resin inks has been adapted so that known problems with epoxy resin dyeing no longer occur. Thus, the colours remain true to their original colour even after the mixing process and after drying. In addition, Octopus Fluids Resin Inks do not show any brown tint after application in the resin.
Due to their high colour intensity and improved flow properties, you can use our colours for a wide variety of projects and artworks. Even thicker epoxy resin layers, such as those created when working on table tops, can be coloured without any problems. As is usual with paints that do not rely on pigments as colouring agents, however, permanent use in direct sunlight should be avoided.
