Swiss paper was much praised on Sewing Bee and it is easy to see why! Strong and longer lasting than traditional tissue paper, easy to see through for transferring pattern pieces, super wide at 100cm, and you can sew pieces together to make muslins! We first used this at our Sewing School and were so impressed we decided to stock it – to this day our customers draft their patterns on this paper and then sew the pieces together to check the fit, then pull the tacking stitches out of the amended pattern, iron the pattern pieces flat and then start working with their precious fabric stash, confident of the fit.
