  • SPAX T-STAR PLUS RECESS – Offers all the advantages of the SPAX T-STAR recess (no cam-out effect, minimisation of the contact force, absorption of high torques). In addition, this recess has a small depression in the screw head below the drive surfaces into which the matching SPAX T-STAR plus BIT with centre pin can be precisely inserted. This plus connection ensures the optimum transmission of torque, a long service life and a perfect fit. Even working overhead is easy.
  • SPAX MULTI HEAD – This head has recessed pocket segments. Edges are thus formed between the individual segments, which have a milling effect when they come into contact with wood. The head is countersunk into the wood cleanly and flush. SPAX MULTI head is used to fasten a metal fitting, the non-recessed surfaces of the head brake the screw as it comes into contact with the metal fitting. This effectively prevents overtightening of the screw and creates a strong connection.
  • RUST-FREE A2 STAINLESS STEEL – Screws made of stainless steel are particularly suitable for use outdoors or in humid areas. They are available in A2 stainless steel for outdoor applications where they are directly exposed to the elements, as well as for humid indoor spaces (e.g. kitchen and bathroom). Stainless steel is characterised by a high chrome content. This forms a protective layer on the surface of the material.

The arrow shape pushes through the fibres of the wood, ensuring a fast grip. This effectively prevents the material from splitting. The advantage of a thread with a ground serrations compared to a conventional thread is that it can cut through the fibres of the wood more easily. This works in a similar manner to a serrated knife.
