The Sharpening Compound is specifically designed for powered leather strops. You can also do it in a fraction of the time compared to hand stropping. When stropping a knife with a Super Strop leather belt, remember to use light pressure and allow the strop belt to do the work. Move the knife at the same pace you would if you were sharpening with an abrasive belt. The 1X30 in. Super Strop works fast! Super Strops are quality leather belts for stropping with belt sanders.
