Description
These sleeves are designed to shrink down over and protect the spliced fibre, creating a heat resistant environment which ensures the splice loss of the fibre splice is maintained. The internal adhesive is heat activated by the splice machine heater and will bond with both fibre coating and pigtail buffer. The splice protectors are 45mm long and the diameter of the protective sleeve is 3.2mm, shrinking down to 2.8mm after applying heat. Each splice protector includes a built in stainless steel reinforcing needle for additional strength. Each pack contains 100 splice protectors
