Blend of plant based cornstarch, PBAT (polybutelene Andipate Terephthalate), PLA (Polylactic Acid) Does NOT contain any polyethylene Decomposes within 180 days Note: Conditions have to be right for break down and often it isn’t hot enough in home compost situation. It might need centralised composting facilities where the compost is guaranteed to reach high temperatures. Dispose of in food and garden bin also flushed. Including to septic tank! They dissolve leaving only traces of CO2 and H2O behind. Note: Compostable is a subset of biodegradable. All compostable plastics are biodegradable, but not all biodegradable matter is considered compostable.
