Before fastening the clamp, we recommend that you weld or bond the touching parts of the rope with a heat gun or soldering iron. A rope clamp joint should always be combined with some further connection technique (welding, stitching, splicing, etc.). Use of a rope clamp alone will not guarantee a perfectly strong connection.
