- LUXEMUM accessory inserts are made of food-grade silicone and are free from Bisphenol A (BPA). They are easy to clean and maintain – simply wash with warm soapy water after each use. You can also use steam, boiling water, or a microwave steam bag for sterilization (temperature must not exceed 200 degrees Celsius).
- The size of the LUXEMUM flange insert is crucial for comfortable and efficient breast pumping. Some mothers may experience nipple swelling during expression, so observing the appearance of the nipples is essential. If you feel friction or compression on your nipples in the flange groove during pumping, it indicates an improper flange size, and you should switch to the correct-sized flange.
- The lifespan of LUXEMUM accessories depends on usage frequency and cleaning methods. We recommend replacing your pump accessories every 1 to 2 months to ensure optimal performance. However, if you notice any damage, it’s important to replace them promptly for normal usage.
