Description
These 2-pin strip to wire connectors are solution for SMD3528/ SMD3014/ SMD2835 /SMD2216 8mm LED strip lights, dream color changing tape lights connection and extension needs, DIY extention for whatever the cable length you want to connect.
NOTE:
1. Make sure your LED light strip is NON-waterproof 8mm width IP20 strip light with 2 Soldering Pads. Not work for 8mm width led strip lights.
2. Ensure your Wire Diameter is within range standard 18AWG and 20AWG and without stripping wire. can not work non-standard 22 awg 24 gauge wire.
Installation tips:
Strip End:
1. Cut the strip straight perfectly, then fully open the clip.
2. Push the strip in until it hits the backing, and pins on the connector make contact, and press hard down for several times with nose pliers to make sure the PINS puncture through the strips. (Note: Need to peel off the silicone on the surface of led light strip when you want to connect WATERPROOF LED strip.)
Wire End:
1 the desired wire length you need and separated the 2 wires around connection part.
2. Insert wires into the connector guide slot, make sure that positive and negative on the strip light surface are corresponding to the wires.
3e the transparent cap with a pliers and press down hard for several times. Ensure the metal joint pierces through the wire insulation as there are so many non-standard wires on the market!
4. reminder: no stripping of the wires. Just be sure polarity nodes are matched up “+” to “+” and “-” to “-“.
