OUR MANIFESTO
Our planet is at a tipping point. We’re tipping too much plastic into our oceans, polluting our waters and coastlines and choking our marine life. It’s even been predicted that by 2050, there will be more plastic in the seas than fish.
Across the world, plastics make up 85% of marine waste. Cotton buds are included in the list of top 10 most common plastic objects found on European beaches. Plastics from cotton buds have been discovered in the stomachs of turtles and many other UK-caught fishes. Our bamboo cotton buds won’t end up being eaten by turtles and fishes. This crisis is the direct product of the product choices we make at home. So, we have to change our buying habits if we want to improve our habitat.
