This is a Schumann Resonance generator that produces the ultra low frequency (7.83Hz) that is said to be the earth’s own frequency. The Schumann resonance is a magnetic cross-wave that is inside the earth and which vibrates as often as our alpha brain waves. Which sounds weird and “new age” but that doesn’t matter – there are lots of things that work but that we don’t really know why. You’ll get a simple kit – to keep postage costs down, the acrylic box needs you to screw it together (after you’ve peeled off the protective film) but that doesn’t take long providing you’ve got a screwdriver handy. The main frequency generator is ready to use and there’s a USB lead to connect it to your computer. You’ll know it’s connected OK when the On/Off light turns on. Schumann Resonances were predicted in 1952 but weren’t measured until the early 1960’s. The super low frequency means that the wave length is about 100,000 times lower than the lowest frequency radio waves we use – so you’re not going to pick it up on any regular kit you’ve got, hence this generator that does all the hard work. The pulses seem to cancel out background noise. This generator gives you a stable wave that you can play back wherever you want. A lot of people use it as a background while they’re working or to chill out or fall off to sleep – if you do this, I’d suggest covering the on/off light (and any other lights in your room) because the closer it is to total darkness, the better we sleep. Whilst you can get tracks to play, this gives you a lot more control over precisely what’s happening. When you order, you’ll get the complete kit in a protective anti-static bag. Simply open the bag, peel off the protective film from the acrylic box panels, screw everything together and you’re good to go! Fun fact: the wavelength of this frequency is around 38,000 km which is almost the circumference of the earth itself.
