For all 99-110 mm diameter downpipes The rainwater collector with automatic dirty water drainage ensures clean water collection even with typically dirty light rainfall (i.e. drizzle, mist or dew). The amount of water captured by the rainwater collector is the equivalent of approximately 10 – 15 litres per minute of steady rain depending on the roof size, or 600 – 900 litres in 1 hour. If the water butt is placed next to a rainwater downpipe – as in the picture – then the collector works like an automatic overflow cut-off. If the water butt is elsewhere in the garden, away from the downpipe, the floating valve works as the overflow cut-off.
