Small but tough sanding jobs to remove old material and prepare surfaces for working can be almost impossible with conventional sanders or by hand. Even if you can reach the surface, these jobs destroy sandpaper. With the Expert Sanding Plate however, you can reach corners and sand difficult materials with your oscillating multitool.
Using Bosch Carbide Technology, grits of the hardest metal are robustly fixed to the surface. This sharp grit remains fully effective over its long lifespan because you can clean it with a solvent. The Expert Sanding Plate is designed for multiple materials and users.
The coarse, open grains of the RT2 (grit size 20) are best for removing mortar behind tiles; removing carpet adhesive; or rough shaping of wood. The RT4 (grit size 40) is best for removing thick paint but can also tackle mortar and glue if required. The RT6 (grit size 60) is the paint specialist, while the RT10 (grit size 100) is ideal for sanding and preparing clean wood surfaces.
