The 1520 Knife Sharpener is unique in that it is designed to sharpen both Asian Knives (15 Deg blade angle) and Eurpean/North American (20 Deg blade angle). The advanced spring precision angle guides ensure the perfect sharpening of double edged asian knives, single edged asian knives, thicker bladed asian knives, straight and serrated edged European/North American knives plus pocket and sporting knives. 100% diamond abrasive throughout guarantees against the detempering (softening) of blades as no heat is generated. Time required to sharpen – approximately 1 minute for first time sharpening. Resharpening is approximately 10 seconds.
