All transceivers are quality-tested and new goods from the factory with distribution in Munich. Modules are individually packed. The dimensions of the SFP modules are 8.5 x 13.4 x 56.5 mm and can be plugged in and out during operation, so are hot-swappable. Small form-factor pluggable are miniaturised gigabit interface converters (GBIC) for network connections. SFP modules form the physical interface between the transfer medium and gigabit.
