What is HawkShield:
It’s a protection pad added to the top of your pet’s CoyoteVest or SpikeVest spiked dog vest (both sold separately) to minimize the chance of being attacked on the back by a coyote, or being lifted off by a hawk and other birds of prey. It’s an additional layer of safeguard on top of your dog’s vest harness, so you can be assured that your furry friend is well protected when both of you are walking, hiking, camping or training outdoors.
Ultra-lightweight, yet super tough:
The HawkShield is made of three layers of genuine DuPont Kevlar material that’s tough enough to withstand sharp canine teeth and strong talons of birds of prey. Best thing is, the protective pad is also ultra lightweight, so it wouldn’t add any weight or hinder your dog’s mobility when it’s attached to the CoyoteVest or SpikeVest.
c Easy to attach and remove:
The velcro strips make it super effortless for you to attach the HawkShield onto your pet’s dog hawk vest, as well as easy to be removed. This means that if a bird of prey tries to grab your dog and fly away, the first thing they will grab is the HawkShield. As soon as the predator tries to lift off, the weight of your pet will cause the HawkShield pad to release, giving your dog gets an opportunity to escape. In nature, this is called autotomy (think lizard tails) and it’s a proven technique to elude a predator’s grasp.

1. Purchase a CoyoteVest or SpikeVest dog harness vest in a matching size. 2. Remove the HawkShield from its packaging. 3. Attach the HawkShield to the top of the vest using the velcro strips. 4. Ensure the HawkShield is securely attached to the vest before use. 5. Monitor your pet while they are wearing the vest and HawkShield.
