D0MESTAR: 11 stainless steel connectors (stainless steel A2/SS304) for 1V geodesic dome.
Package includes:
– 5 x 4-pin connectors and
– 6 x 5-pin connectors
A new range made of stainless steel (stainless steel A2 / SS304).
These are exactly the same connectors as our other galvanized steel connectors sold here with the only difference that they are made of STAINLESS STEEL. Our other galvanised steel range already offers excellent rain resistance. This new stainless steel range offers even better strength.

Material: STAINLESS STEEL, 3mm thick
Connector diameter: 17.5 cm
In addition to the connectors you will need:
25 wooden uprights/panels/rafters of the same length.
The length of the uprights will determine the diameter and height of the dome.
For example, 40×70 mm panels, each 2.4 m, will make a dome of about 4.6 m in diameter and 3.35 m in height.
50 bolts (round head square neck) 8 mm which are 1 or 2 cm longer than the height of the uprights: for example 80-90 mm for the above panels. (or if you prefer, 100 wood screws)
You will need the following tools:
– a saw (normal or jig, circular or radial) to cut the lambourdes to the right size
– a drill for holes in the paneling
– a hammer to drive the bolts
– a wrench to screw the nuts
– 40 m of cord (4 to 8 mm diameter) to help you with assembly.
– a ladder or a stepladder

I do everything to make the assembly as easy as possible: once the hardware is assembled it takes about 3 hours to mount the geodesic dome with the D0MESTAR connectors.
