- Replace every 3-4 years. 1) Always clean the vessel for the new membrane 2) Grease the black gasket that fits the membrane 3) Check that the sealing ORings of the vessel are in their correct position. The cleaning of osmosis systems is essential to lengthen the life of the membrane, it is recommended to slide inside the Citric Acid plant with each filter replacement, leaving it to work for at least 45 minutes.
