Description
Production of Airlaid: Airlaid is made from cellulose and binders. It is not as usual as in the production of paper, processed in water, but dried in a so called compressed air process and hence the term “Airlaid”.
Characteristics of Airlaid: Airlaid is characterized by the following properties: It is tear proof, extremely absorbent and lint free. Furthermore, air laid is very skin friendly and pleasantly soft.
Fluffy & Soft: Compared to tissue materials, Airlaid is fluffy and soft and very textile-like.
High quality: It is a non-woven and very high quality pulp, which is in no way inferior to a textile napkin.
Linen feel: The Airlaid material is due to its absorbency and tear resistance, even in wet conditions absolutely similar to fabric.
Hygienic & skin compatible: Due to the qualitative production and the non-fibrous material, Airlaid has a very hygienic and skin-friendly character.
