Released in 1997 by Parker Brothers as part of the 20th Anniversary of the release of the First Star Wars movie. This fantastic Star Wars Monopoly Collectors Edition Board Game, is based on the world famous Monopoly Board Game but has been transported to a Galaxy Far Far Away. The game is filled with characters, vehicles, locations and scenes from all three of the original trilogy of Star Wars Films. The features in this edition include – Unique starfield game board is numbered and dated, The pewter tokens, cast by Rawcliffe, are 8 Star Wars heroes and villains, The 5 brass Imperial coins add a ring to your high-level financial transactions, Deck of Rebel and Imperial card reward you, penalize you, and send you flying around the galaxy and Miniature vehicles stake your claim to properties: X-Wing fighters and Corellian freighters if you’re the light side, or Tie fighters and Star Destroyers if you are the Dark Side! The game its self is in fantastic condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now 20 years old. The game is 100% complete, and the board is numbered 2754 and dated 21st April 1997. All of the playing pieces, tokens, coins, vehicles, cards and bank notes are in very good condition, with virtually no signs of any wear. The board is in near mint condition, and looks like it has hardly been used. Comes complete in the original box, which is also in good condition, but does have some wear mainly along the edges, a few creases due to the way it had been stacked on a shelf, and some paper tears on the sides where tape has been removed. Still a fantastic example of a vintage Limited Edition Star Wars Collectors Monopoly game from 20 years ago. All orders received before 4.00pm Monday to Fridays are shipped the same day.
