The largest of the excellent Rootrainer series, this maxi jumbo size is ideal for starting off larger seeds and for cuttings of trees and shrubs. With ten books in a holding tray, each set has 40 growing cells in total. Whole set measures 44cm long x 28cm wide x 14cm high. Individual cells measure 20cm deep x 5cm x 4.5cm wide. Rootrainers help plants develop more quickly, by allowing roots to grow straight and long. Being able to open up the books, progress of growth can be inspected, and when time comes to transplant the disturbance to the vital root system is minimal.
