Description
The car is based on a real car made in 2016 under the name Project Underdog and was designed and built in the SEMA garage with the help of three Los Angeles high school students. The Custom Ford Maverick has a 2.3-liter, four-cylinder Ford EcoBoost engine, the same as the 2015 Ford Mustang, and is powered by a GReddy turbocharger that provides nearly 400 horsepower and a 6-speed manual transmission. It’s built in a custom body kit with details from the original Brazilian Mavericks built in the late 1970s.
