“This Jaguar XJ220 Hot Wheels is a supercar made by Jaguar in collaboration with Tom Walkinshaw. Until the McLaren F1, this model held the speed record with a top speed of 338 km/h. Its 3.6-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine develops 542 horsepower. It’s a two-seater model with a monocoque chassis. This model was made to face Porsch’s new model, the 959, also Lamborghini announced the Diablo, Bugatti reappeared and Ferrari launched the F40. In 1989 it was introduced and during 1992 and 1994 281 units were sold, making it a relatively exclusive model”.
