- Thunderbolt 3 NVMe M Key M.2 SSD Enclosure support for PCI-Ex4, theoretical transmission speed up to 40 Gbit/s (MAX). Test data (Samsung 970 Evo 250G): Lenovo Thinkpad T470 (x2) read: 1400+ MB/s, write: 1500+ MB/s; Macbook Pro 2018 (x4) read: 2700+ MB/s, write: 1500+ MB/s. Not all Thunderbolt 3 computers are 4x at full speed, some of them may be 2x.
- The external SSD housing is only compatible with M.2 PCIe NVME SSD with M-Key 2260/2280. Note: The SSD housing does not support PCIe AHCI M.2 SSD or M.2 SATA-based (M.2 SATA B-Key and B + M Key SSD are not supported.). The base of the low-profile SSD housing is only suitable for single-sided NVMe SSD (NVMe SSD thickness must be less than 2.5 mm)
