Isomol Gel is a novel hydro-gel emollient which has been specifically developed to provide enhanced moisturisation of eczamatous and dry skin conditions.Isomol Gel’s formulation provides your skin with the moisturising advantages of an ointment, but with the cosmetic acceptability of a cream. It’s highly moisturising and protective qualities are ideal for regular treatment of dry or chapped skin conditions, which may also be itchy or inflamed.Isomol Gel has a dual action which improves skin hydration by reducing water loss from skin evaporation and actively increasing the water content of the skin through its “humectant” properties, thus reducing skin roughness and irritation caused by dryness.Emollients form the basis of treatment for atopic eczema and other dry skin conditions which involves using emollients routinely and regularly.Isomol Gel is specially formulated for continuous use and its formulation has been established as a mainstay of treatment in the UK for several decades.Isomol Gel softens, protects and moisturises dry skin and is suitable for all ages including babies. However, if you suffer from a dry skin condition, it is important to ensure your moisturiser is free from irritants which can make your condition worse.You can feel reassured that Isomol does not contain any of the common irritants (known as sensitisers), many of which are found in other moisturisers.With Isomol, your skin will feel softer and more elastic which in turn will make you feel more confident – which is especially important if it is being used by young children.
