Description
The medium-weight low flow bomber BR 20 “Cicogna” was developed in the 1930s by the Italian aircraft manufacturer Fiat. It was worked in 1936 and was marked by its metal frame and retractable chassis. Modern and fast for time, it was used by the “Aviazione Legionaria” and received its fire baptism in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War. In September 1940, the “Corpo Aereo Italiano”, consisting of the 13th and 43th Stormo da Bombardamento, also equipped with the BR-20. The Stormi were stationated in Belgium and supported the Air Force during the battle of England. Despite operative comparison to modern R. A.
