Description

Tokoname: one of the six ancient Japanese ovens, a colourful pottery city in the history of Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, located on the western coast of Chita peninsula face to Ise bay This is the front door of the international Airport of Chubu (Centrair), 6 km East West and 16 km North-Soud. Known throughout the country as a pottery city with long, narrow terrain from north to south. Tokoname dinnerware, which has a history of 1000 years, is counted as one of the six old ovens in Japan. The craftsmen worked hard to create it, it is a “traditional technique” that Tokoname Ware Kyusu is proud of it.
