Artfully designed amulet made of 925 sterling silver with engraved Dagaz rune on the front. The back is polished smooth. Dimensions: approx. 27 mm high x approx. 16 mm wide, inner diameter of the eyelet: approx. 5 mm. Weight: approx. 5.4 g. Attention: As the pendants are made by hand, there may be slight variations in size, colour and shape. Meaning of the rune Dagaz / Daeg: Corresponding German letter: D. Concrete meaning: day. Abstract meaning: light, enlightenment. Background: runes were used by the Germanic peoples from the 2nd to 14th century, especially for inscriptions on stone. Most of the rune inscriptions are from the Viking Age Scandinavia.
