Description
The PowerPlant 600W Controllable Ballast is a very versatile unit. It is able to function independently as a standalone 600W HID Lighting Ballast, dimmable manually, and suitable for scheduling using a timer. But it can be controlled, either independently or as part of an array of up to 100 ballasts, by a single PowerPlant Controller. Using a controller adds the ability to program power level, on/off times, sunrise and sunset power-ramp periods, and to set up temperature-dependent auto-dimming and emergency shutdown. The ballast has an output lead compatible with any standard IEC C14 male reflector lead and is suitable for use with any good-quality 600W HID lamp. Dimmable manually to 450W and 300W, and boostable to 690W – 115% above standard 600W output. Two RJ14 control leads and splitter provided.
