Lyclear Extra Strong lotion is an anti lice treatment which has been proven to be up to 100% effective against head lice and eggs in 10 minutes. Its triple action formula not only suffocates eggs and lice but also dehydrates them. Due to its mechanical action there is no risk of developing resistance to Lyclear Extra Strong lotion. Its LPF technology helps to avoid reinfestation for up to 72hrs (1). In addition, it’s convenient to use as it treats lice and nits and washes the hair at the same time.
How do people get lice? Lice spread from one head to another, either as a result of direct contact, especially in the case of children, or through contact with hats, scarves, jackets, combs, soft toys, etc. Lice are not an indication of poor hygiene, quite the contrary, lice prefer clean natural hair.
How to use Lyclear Extra Strong lotion? – Check for the presence of head lice Use the enclosed fine toothed anti-lice comb to check thoroughly the hair of each family member, preferably in daylight. Treat all those who have got head lice, the same day, in order to avoid re-infestation. – Apply Lyclear Extra Strong lotion ON DRY HAIR Apply evenly a sufficient quantity of Lyclear Extra Strong lotion on DRY HAIR, avoiding the area around the eyes. Be sure to cover all the hair and scalp with a thick layer of the product. Massage well from the roots to tips paying particular attention to the neck and the area behind the ears. – Leave on the hair Leave the lotion on the hair for 10 minutes. – Add water & wash the hair Apply a sufficient amount of cosmetic shampoo all over the hair without wetting it first. Then add some water and shampoo thoroughly to remove all lotion. Rinse with warm water. – Remove the lice & eggs Before drying the hair, use the enclosed Lyclear anti-lice comb to carefully remove lice and eggs.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding There is no known contraindication for pregnant and breastfeeding women to use Lyclear Treatment Shampoo. However, it is recommended to always seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist before using a product when pregnant or breastfeeding. 100 ml= up to 4 applications, depending on the length of the hair.
Composition Distillates (petroleum), hydrotreated middle, Polyisobutene, Isododecane (and) Acrylates Copolymer, Geraniol, Phenylethyl phenylacetate, Citronellol, Nerolidol Isomers, Geranyl acetate, Sesamum indicum seed oil.
Caution Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and nose. Do not use in case of allergy to one of the ingredients. In the event of a rash breaking out, an irritation, or hyper-sensitivity stop the treatment immediately, and wash your hair with your regular shampoo. Do not use this product when the scalp is already very irritated or injured. Make sure you washout the product well. Several shampooings can be necessary. Do not use the product by covering up the hair with a cap or wrapped foil. Keep out of reach of children. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. FLAMMABILITY RISK: Keep treated hair away from flames or hot objects.
This prodcut is only suitable for head lice (not pubic or body lice).
Disposal When disposing of the bottle, rinse and recycle according to local waste management guidelines.
Possible side effects Itching and irritation around the eyes. Flaking of the scalp. Contact irritation and redness of the scalp, ears or neck.
References (1) LPF protection and Pediculicidal activity was demonstrated by ex vivo data. Lyclear spray kills 100% of head lice and near to 100% of eggs. Use sufficient product and comb thoroughly to remove all eggs. In case of re-infestation or abnormal infestation, the treatment needs to be repeated.
